Chiropractic Adjustments

The practice of chiropractic addresses the alignment of your spinal vertebra and other joints. Misaligned bones in your spine or other joints can put pressure on the surrounding nerves and muscles, causing pain, stiffness, numbness, and tingling. Chiropractic adjustments help to remove this pressure and alleviate the pain and nerve irritation.

There are many ways to assess and correct the spine.  Our practice offers several of them to complement your nutritional program in restoring your body to full health and function.

Chiropractic adjustments can be helpful for lots of conditions including spinal pain, sciatica, headaches, shoulder pain, disc problems, vertigo, ear infections, and carpal tunnel.

Chiropractic works even better and faster along with the correct nutritional program.

Ask Dr. Kohr if adjustments would benefit you.

Chiropractic — The World’s Foremost Natural Healthcare Science

Chiropractic is concerned with the relationship between the structure (primarily the spine) and function (primarily coordinated by the nervous system) of your body and how that relationship affects your health.

Sacro-Occipital Technique

SOT is a method of normalizing the relationship between the foundation of the spine and the top of the spine. It is this relationship and how these two bones get along with one another, that has been proven to be so important in the normal functioning of the brain and spinal cord.

Cranial Adjusting

Cranial adjusting is a chiropractic soft-touch therapy that addresses restrictions in the brain, spinal cord, and spinal fluid, to enhance overall health and well-being.

Neuro-Emotional Technique

NET is a mind-body stress-reduction technique that uses a methodology of finding and removing neurological imbalances related to an unresolved mind-body component. The body stores emotions that have a profound effect on overall health. This system helps remove the charge from these emotions.

Instrument/Low Force Techniques

This specific system of adjusting restores proper balance, and does it with improved safety and comfort by using a hand held adjusting instrument.

Diversified Technique

Diversified Technique is a type of chiropractic adjustment where the practitioner uses their hands to re-align a joint that has become subluxated (misaligned). It is sometimes called a Manual Adjustment. This is usually accompanied by a noise like a ‘pop’, similar to when you crack your knuckles. The adjustment is done in a face down or face up position and is usually painless.
